Dr. Laurent Béduneau-Wang, an Assistant Professor at Africa Business School (ABS), University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) and an associate researcher at UMR G-EAU (Montpellier, France), wrote his Ph.D. paper on “The Value of Water and Performance Indicators: Strategic & Organizational Tensions in Water Industry (1853-2017)” (Ecole Polytechnique – Paris-Saclay University). He has done postdocs at Ecole Polytechnique (Paris), Mines ParisTech and HEC Montreal. He has lectured at HEC Paris, CentraleSupélec, Mines ParisTech and Agro ParisTech. In 2018-2019, he was a member of the Steering Committee for the International Congress of French Business History. He edited and co-wrote « Is China a financial giant?” (Vuibert, 2006 – in French: “La Chine: un colosse financier?”) and “French financial system” (Economics and Management Publishing House, Pékin, 2007 – in Chinese: “Faguo Jinrong Tixie”).
