William J. Hausman
Will Hausman received his B.A. degree from William & Mary in 1971 and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1976. He was a research student at the London School of Economics in 1975. In 1981 he returned to William & Mary and now is Chancellor Professor of Economics. Will is an economic and business historian who has published a book and several articles on the British coal industry and numerous articles on the history of the U.S. electric utility industry. His research continues to focus on the economic history of the electric utility industry. He teaches courses in statistics and in economic, business, and public policy history.
