Michael researches 20th century postwar history of the relationship between monetary sovereignty and development. He is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Studies at Cambridge, and in the spring of 2024 will be a visiting fellow at Geneva's Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. Prior to his PhD, he completed his MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History. He also attended McGill University and Deep Springs College.
