I am a third-year PhD student who is creating a biography of the burger to investigate how its global expansion has impacted culture, health, and class experience in the UK. I have a strong research interest in American and British business history, especially relating to fast-food business practice, advertising, corporate citizenship, globalization, and trends in food consumption.

I am also currently a Fellow at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, History, where I am exploring how food corporations have historically marketed and communicated ideas of Americana heritage to consumers.
