Alberto Rinaldi is Professor of Economic History at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). His main research interests include industrial districts and local development, corporate governance, interlocking directorates and social network analysis, business elites, and female Entrepreneurship. He has published extensively in leading journals as Business History, Explorations in Economic History, Enterprise & Society, Cliometrica, and Financial History Review.
