Alvaro Silva
Álvaro Ferreira da Silva has a PhD in History from the European University Institute (Florence) and is an Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics (Lisbon). His current research spans through different fields: business groups in historical perspective, risk management in international business, and the history of infrastructures. He published in journals such as Business History, Business History Review, Technology and Culture, Journal of Political Power. He is currently an elected member of the European Business History Association’s Council.
