I am a historian of the modern United States with three primary research interests: political economy, intellectual history, and international order. My dissertation asks how domestic political economy (contests between capital, labor, and the state over the production and distribution of wealth) and global geopolitics (contests between nation-states over the preponderance of power and influence) combined to shape the development of American capitalism during the Cold War era.
