Alice Lam

Alice Lam is Professor of Organization Studies at the School of Business and Management, Royal Holloway University of London. Her research bridges sociology, management, and organization studies to examine how societal institutions shape organizational learning and innovation. She also studies the work and careers of scientists, engineers, and other creative knowledge professionals, exploring how careers facilitate knowledge transfer across organizational and institutional boundaries. Her work has been published in leading journals, including Human Relations, Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies, and Research Policy.
