Grigorios Antoniou is a Doctoral Candidate in Economic History at the University of Cyprus. He holds a BSc and an MPhil in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The purpose of his doctoral dissertation is the study of the elite and especially of the industrialists of the capital region of Athens in the period 1945-1980. He has also pursued academic studies in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, funded by European Union scholarships. His research centers on the socio-economic reproduction of elites in the 20th century, with broader interests in economic and business history.
