Jessica Lomas is a PhD Candidate at Henley Business School (University of Reading) in the Department of International Business and Strategy. Her research interests include Banking, Corporate Social Responsibility, Governance and Social Entrepreneurship.

Recently, Jessica has taken up a position as a Research Assistant at Kings College London on an ESRC funded project. The mixed-methods study explores how the global shipping industry exercises influence in maritime governance, with a focus on the International Maritime Organisation, European Union, and UK Government. Drawing on assemblage theory and international practice theory, the project investigates how industry influence operates and evolves across governance over time.
