Marcia Chatelain is Professor of History and African American Studies at Georgetown University.  She is the author of Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America (Liveright, 2020).  Her article "The Miracle of the Golden Arches" in Pacific Historical Review won the Ray Allen Billington Prize in 2017.
