Daniel Diaz Vidal is an economic historian interested in cast formation, business history, marketing history, accounting history, social mobility, international trade, migrations, educational economics, and labor economics.
Diaz Vidal is a member of the American Economic Association, and the American Economic History Association, and he collaborated on Greg Clark's Gyorgy Ranki Biennial Award-winning book The Son Also Rises. He has published in the journal Explorations in Economic History and the Economic History Review, amongst other journals, and has several articles for review in top journals in economic history.
