Heather is an interdisciplinary scholar and teacher of US and Native American histories. She is a PhD candidate at Northwestern, a Mellon Cluster Fellow in Native American and Indigenous Studies, and the teaching assistant for the Dakota Language program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
