Women in Business History

As the Director of the Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library I collect and promote the use of a wide range of rare and unique materials related to advertising, sales and marketing history. My particular interests include women and African Americans in advertising (careers of, as a consumer demographic, and depictions of), outdoor advertising, direct marketing, and advertising cookbooks. I also collect materials related to tobacco and the consumer movement.
