I am a PhD student in Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park. My research is in international macroeconomics and finance, with a focus on exchange rates, central bank policy, and expectations. My current work studies foreign exchange intervention using historical central bank documents to understand what policymakers knew before acting, how intervention decisions were made, and how policy shocks affect financial markets. I also work on the exchange rate disconnect and the role of information and expectations in international macroeconomics.
