Valeria Pinchera is Professor of Economic History at the University of Pisa (Italy). Her main research interests include the history of consumption and material culture, the economics of art, and the business history of fashion. She has published extensively in leading journals such as Business History Review, Business History, The Journal of Interdisciplinary History, and Consumption, Markets & Culture.
