Samrudha Dixit is a doctoral candidate at Bard Graduate Center in New York City, where he examines everyday objects in India during the Cold War. Trained as an industrial designer, he has collaborated with architects and engineers in India, working with materials and techniques ranging from bamboo to tensile‐fabric construction.
In his doctoral research, to expand beyond the designer-centric history, Samrudha is tracing object networks in history of business, technology, science, and economics,
