Associate Professor Dr. Pheunpha was a lecturer at the Ubon Ratchathani Business School since 2007. She is a council member Ubon Ratchathani University and she is a member of the lecturers' Council Ubon Ratchathani University. In 2020-2021, she a head of department Business of Management, Faculty of Management Science, Ubon Ratchathani University. In 2017-18, she was an associate dean for academic affairs and a lecturer in the Ubon Ratchathani Business School (Faculty of Management Science), Ubon Ratchathani University. She received her Ph.D. from Chulalongkorn University in the Educational Research Methodology Field, received a Certificate of Achievement for Studying at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the USA in 2011, and studied for an MSc degree at Chulalongkorn University in 2007, Thailand, in Educational Research Methodology Field. Her first degree is a BEd (Hons) Teaching Mathematics (2nd class honors) from the Khon Kaen University, Thailand in 2002.
She was a visiting scholar at the University of Strathclyde from the British Council, Researcher Links 2014. From 2007-present around 17 years, she worked for Ubon Ratchathani University, she is a lecturer in Business Statistics, Business Research, and Business Data Analytic. She used to be the assistant and associate dean of the faculty from 2012-2016 and a head of Business Management Department 2019. She was one of highest publishing research papers at the Ubon Ratchathani Business School in 2020 -2021, 3-5 papers per year. During this period, Dr. Pheunpha examined the effect of organizational administration of Business School on student achievement, education, student satisfaction in a Thai university, the internal organization factors, organizational culture affecting employees’ happiness at the workplace, the impact of initial service quality, organizational climate, customer’s satisfaction, development of value-added models for measuring organization effectiveness, how to decrease dropout rates in school and survival analysis for predicting drop-out rate of university students in Thailand. Currently, she is interested in improving the education of Thai students, business management, business organization, poverty dynamics, well-being, household, and quality of work life in the organization. Dr. Pheunpha has a strong interest in research methodology, research design, statistics, quantitative methods such as SPSS program, MPLUS, AMOS, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in Education and Business fields. However, she would like to expand her research interests to employ qualitative and mixed methods approaches.
