I am a Research Fellow at the Tamil Nadu Council of Historical Research in Chennai, India and Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. My research interests include the history of the early modern Eurasian long-distance trade, history of business organizations, history of the chartered trading companies, history of information and accounting, business history of colonial India and global histories of capitalism.
