Dmitrii M. Zhikharevich is a sociologist and historian of finance and capitalism. He did his Ph.D. thesis at the London School of Economics and Political Science, focusing on the emergence and early history of venture capitalism in the U.S. His current research examines the interplay between economic expertise and valuation across finance, public policy, and public health.
