Henry Kaufman Financial History Dissertation Fellowships provide up to $40,000 for up to twelve months to support PhD candidates writing a dissertation that engages meaningfully with financial history in any time period or region of the world. Award recipients are expected to devote full time during their fellowship tenure to the proposed project. The fellowship period must begin within twelve months of notification of the award, unless granted an extension by the Selection Committee.

路 research statement (up to 1,500 words)
路 an optional one-page bibliography of works you have consulted for your proposal
路 detailed work plan (including possible outcomes)
路 two letters of recommendation including one from the dissertation advisor (send to Gregory A. Hargreaves ghargreaves@hagley.org).
