Industria, Cultura e Consumo
Resumo: O presente artigo discute o impacto do processo de globalizaĆ§Ć£o nos anos de 1990 na indĆŗstria da moda no Brasil.Ā O setor se reorganizou apĆ³s a internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o da economia em torno de uma nova concepĆ§Ć£o coordenada deĀ produĆ§Ć£o industrial, consumo e circulaĆ§Ć£o social da moda denominado fast-fashion. A ampla adoĆ§Ć£o do novoĀ modelo levanta questƵes especificas - criaĆ§Ć£o, reproduĆ§Ć£o, democratizaĆ§Ć£o, identidades - que o situam noĀ entrecruzamento entre a economia e a cultura. A hipĆ³tese que orientou a presente investigaĆ§Ć£o Ć© que asĀ transformaƧƵes que atingem a indĆŗstria tĆŖxtil brasileira a partir desse perĆodo sĆ³ podem ser adequadamenteĀ explicadas pelo reconhecimento da moda rĆ”pida enquanto um fenĆ“meno econĆ“mico-cultural.
