Cory Fischer-Hoffman is an interdisciplinary scholar, media maker, oral historian and Visiting Assistant Professor in Latin American & Caribbean Studies at Lafayette College. She is writing a book about the Bethlehem Steel Corporation’s century-long history of mining operations in Latin America. Her research has received support from the Mining History Association, Hagley Museum and Archives and in 2023, she conducted fieldwork for this project as a Fulbright scholar in Amapá and Minas Gerais, Brazil.
