Jeremy Land
I received my Ph.D. at Georgia State University in the department of History in 2019. I am most interested in economic and business history of the Atlantic World between roughly 1700-1850. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Economic History in the Department of Economy and Society in the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg. I serve as meetings coordinator for the Economic History Association, and am a trustee of the Economic and Business History Society. Currently, I am working in a project focusing on quantifying and analyzing smuggling in the early modern maritime economy.
