Business Historians at Business Schools
I am a historian specializing in economic and business history, with a focus on the role of government officials as investors in companies during the nineteenth century at the Cape Colony. I earned my PhD in Economic History from Stellenbosch University, where I developed a deep interest in the intersections of governance, finance, and economic development. My research explores how business and political networks shaped economic systems in the past.
