Business Historians at Business Schools

A historian of science and technology, Marcela Efmertová is a professor and research director at the Czech Technical University in Prague. She founded the Laboratory of (Electro)technical History in 2011 and established the doctoral program, which holds accreditation from 2012 to 2030. She completed her historical studies at Charles University in Prague and subsequently worked at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences in Prague. There, she specialized in Czech history and the history of science and technology within the European context of the 19th and 20th centuries, fields that she continues to develop at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
