Boyu Fang is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Economic History, enrolled in the Interuniversity Ph.D. Program jointly offered by the University of Barcelona, the University of Valencia, and the University Charles III of Madrid. Boyu previously held the position of Deputy Director at the China National Postdoctoral Innovation Demonstration Center in Jiangmen. Boyu holds a Master's degree in International Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Limerick in Ireland. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate education at Beijing Foreign Studies University, where he earned dual degrees in Italian Language and Culture, as well as Finance. Boyu has earned him recognition as the Best Paper Award winner in the Entrepreneurship in Minority Groups track at the 41st Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) conference, held in Birmingham.
Currently, Boyu's primary research interests revolve around investigating the impact of social networks among overseas Chinese immigrants on their entrepreneurial success, with a specific focus on the captivating stories of overseas Chinese businesses in the Southeast Asian region.
