Declan O’Reilly holds degrees from Goldsmiths College (London University) and the LSE, as well as a Ph.D. in international history from the University of Cambridge. He has taught in universities as diverse as Edinburgh, Hull, Roehampton and King’s College London, where e is currently a Research Fellow. Dr O’Reilly has published articles on financial and business history, particularly the 20th century German chemical industry and its relations with the United States. He has wide interests in economic history, technology history, war, European history, globalisation and cultural modernity. He is currently researching the logistics of special operations and secret warfare.
