I’m Beatriu de Pinós research fellow at the department of Economic History of the University of Barcelona. Previously, I was lecturer in economic and business history at the University of La Laguna (Spain), and Kurgan-van Hentenryk Post-doctoral fellow in Business History at the Free University of Brussels. My research interests include business history, industrial districts and clusters, and the Sport industry. I published numerous articles in international journals including Business History, Enterprise and Society, Journal of Evolutionary Studies in Business, and the International Journal of the History of Sport, as well as several chapters of books published by Cambridge University Press, Routledge and Oldenbourg. I earned a Llicenciatura (5-years degree) in Economics at Autonomous University of Barcelona and a PhD in Economic History at University of Barcelona.
