Hello! I am a PhD Candidate in the history department at American University. My dissertation explores the politicization of American coinage and paper money between 1775 and 1896. More broadly, my research addresses questions related to the history of political economy and capitalism, American Jewish history, and the relationship between cultural history and private enterprise in eighteenth, nineteenth, and early twentieth-century America.
