Hi, my name is April Young, a Ph.D. student at the University of South Florida. I study the intersection of business and fashion history in the Post-WWII period. I'm specifically interested in how fashion intermingled with broader political-economic developments such as globalization, computerization, and financialization. Additionally, I study the history of gender and sexuality and its connection to consumer culture.
