Valdrina Selimi is a PhD candidate at the University of Pécs, Hungary, and a researcher specializing in digital governance, migration, and labour markets in Southeast Europe. Her work examines how digital transformation and outsourcing reshape employment dynamics in high-unemployment and high-emigration economies, with a particular focus on the Western Balkans. Beyond her academic research, she has contributed to public-sector digital governance initiatives, including the development of the Case Management Information System (CMIS) for the Kosovo Judicial and Prosecutorial Council. Her current research investigates the intersection of cross-border digital labour, economic stability, and emigration intentions, combining migration theory with quantitative empirical methods to inform policy debates on retention and institutional reform in emerging European economies.
