Sun teaches strategy and international business at Seoul National University Business School, where he is a founding member of the Center for Korean Business History Research. He is also an Alfred D. Chandler International Visiting Fellow in Business History at Harvard Business School. His research centers on the emergence and development of managerial capitalism in Korea from 1970 to 2000, focusing on the strategic leadership of top executives.
