S. Feyza Yagci Ergun
Architecture, 1850s-1940s, history of advertising and consumer culture, Trade Associations
Feyza Yağcı Ergün is an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Faculty of Architecture, where she earned her BSc in Architecture in 2011 and her MSc in the Restoration Program in 2013. She obtained her PhD in 2020 from the Chair of Building History, Building Archaeology, and Conservation at the Architecture Department of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manfred Schuller. She worked as a lecturer at TUM in 2017 and has been with Istanbul Technical University since 2020. Additionally, she has research experience with ETH Zurich (2013) and TH Köln (2009). Her research interests include traditional dwellings, historical wooden structures, architectural influences and trade catalogues.
