Extensive publication record on Canadian consumer society, business history of retailing in the United States and Canada, corporate philanthropy, and material culture. Committed to advancing our understanding of consumer capitalism and its societal impacts. Current research interests include the business of retailing, consumer capitalism including consumer finance, domesticity, and material culture.
