Description of workshop

This workshop will explore the profits and pitfalls of investigating the environmental histories of major multinational firms and businesses. Participants will discuss how to gain access to corporate archives and records, how to file Freedom of Information Act requests, and other tricks to help historians find resources on firms that might otherwise withhold relevant information related to their ecological footprint.
