Bamidélé holds a Master degree in Franco-German in Marketing and Management from La Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) in Paris and a Master’s in European Business from ESCP Europe which was completed in Oxford and Berlin. She completed a BA in African studies with a focus on Yoruba/Hausa in June 2014 at INALCO (Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales) in Paris, and an MA in African History at Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris I) in 2015, focusing on the economic and social history of Southern Nigeria 1880-1919. Her MPhil’s dissertation (2016-2017) was centered on the monetary history of Nigeria (1967-1974) at Panthéon-Sorbonne University. She is a member of the African Studies Association of Africa, African Economic History Network, Economic and Business History Society, CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association) and GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals).
Bamidélé holds a dual citizenship from France and Nigeria. She has an extensive work experience in the financial industry in Germany and in the UK. She is a Credit Manager for banking and non-banking financial institutions, supranationals, financial market infrastructures, country and sovereign risks in developed, emerging and frontier markets, and financial market infrastructures at a financial institution in London. Prior to that position, she held a number of roles analyzing trade finance and derivatives transactions, banks, NBFIs (exchanges, pension funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, securitization vehicles, and structured investment vehicles), hedge funds, supranationals, central banks, countries and sovereigns at in a number of organizations. At Moody’s, she published pieces of research, among others, The Impact on Luxembourg’s Financial Institutions of The EU Harmonisation Directive on Taxation of Savings Income”.
Her interests are social and economic history, paintings and creative arts.
