Julio Cesar Zuluaga works as an assistant professor in the Management of Organizations 
Department, Javeriana University in Colombia. He has a bachelor (BSc) in History, a 
master’s degree (MSc) in Organizational Studies and a PhD in Management. His main 
research interest is the relationship between knowledge diffusion, innovation and 
technological change. During the last years, He has been working on the business history of 
the Colombian family firms, specifically in the topic of corporate social responsibility and 
firm strategy in the sugar cane sector.
