Hopin: Presenters, Chairs, and Discussants Guide

In live sessions and stages, only presenters and chairs will have access to sharing audio and video.

Live sessions

The program for the roundtables (60 minutes) and concurrent sessions (75 minutes each session) of the #BHC2021online is available here https://thebhc.org/current-program and on Hopin’s reception page https://hopin.com/events/bhc-2021-annual-meeting. We recommend to join your session at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time to get familiar with your presentation space.

Anyone entering a session will see the following view

As a presenter, when you enter a live session, you may ask to share and audio and video. The moderator will accept/reject such request.

Moderators (Chairs)

Every session has been assigned a moderator, either the chair or discussant of the panel. If the panel had a discussant and a chair, both have been added as moderators to their session. Enter your session at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. As a moderator, you are responsible for allowing presenters to share their audio and video.

During the presentation, the moderator will also collect questions from the Q&A tab on your right and monitor the chat. 

How to share your screen

When you ask to share audio and video, a window will ask you to confirm your microphone and camera settings. Once you are in, the following view will appear under your image:

Select the screen icon to share.

There is one Stage that everyone in the audience is welcome to join. The Krooss prize session (Friday, 2-3:30pm) and the Presidential Address and Reception session (Saturday, 4-8pm) will go on on the Stage.
