Lecturer in Contemporary Economic History (LTS)

The School of Social and Political Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Contemporary Economic History (Learning, Teaching & Scholarship Track). You will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and by undertaking scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Social and Political Sciences. You will also engage with best practice in learning and teaching, including but not limited to developing and supporting inclusivity, utilising and embedding technology in teaching, and innovation in external engagement in support of learning and teaching. In particular, we are looking for innovation in developing and delivering dissertation projects.

The successful candidate will be based in the Economic and Social History subject area, which is home to the Centre for Business History in Scotland. We value diversity and especially encourage applications from women, disabled and ethnic minority candidates.
