Virtual workshop on August 6: Life and Death in the WW1 Trenches: Causes and Consequences
The Centre for Economic History at the Australian National University is holding a virtual workshop on "Life and Death in the WW1 Trenches: Causes and Consequences" on 6th August. The papers will discuss the risks of death and injury in the trenches, the experience of soldiers in different branches of the military as well as some of the long run consequences of wartime service. The full programme can be found here. We hope that you will join us for what we hope will be an interesting and lively event. Please register on the Zoom here.
We look forward to seeing you at the workshop--Tim Hatton (ANU Centre for Economic History).
